Les Mis Ch 13

This chapter of Les Mis is mostly about the Bishop's kindness, the saying of "He wouldn't hurt a fly," really applies to the Bishop here. We even learn that the Bishop hurt his ankle in an attempt to not kill an ant. Overall we are painted a beautiful picture of the kindness the Bishop shows. This chapter also shows more of the hobbies that make the Bishop happy, like his garden in the morning and the meditation on the bench late into the night. I especially liked the last paragraph, it gives me a sense of the calmness the Bishop feels.
