Les Mis Ch 6

In ch. 6 of Les Miserables the audience gets a house tour of the Bishop's home, his new home, aka the old hospital. We learn that it has two stories and an attic. More importantly, we learn that the bishop's home is always open to the people who need him, they just have to push on the door. The last piece of new information we get is that the one earthly possession bishop does not let go of is his silverware. I find this to be interesting because the one thing the bishop does no let go of is nothing amazing, it is just simple silverware.
