Though everyone technically has a right to their own opinion, this is not beneficial to society because it stops the flow of knowledge. When people say they have the right to their own opinion it adds nothing new to the conversation and in fact says they do not want to hear any counter arguments. This lets people continue with their own beliefs which may in fact be wrong, which in turn as I have stated above, stops new information. That hurts society by having crowds of uninformed or misinformed people.
